"Chelsea, a Common Thread: The Jewish Experience and Beyond."
Temple Emmanuel will be exhibiting a photography show, The History
of Jewish Life in Chelsea, compiled by both the Jewish Historical
Society of the North Shore and Temple Emanuel congregants.
Centro Latino de Chelsea and the Chelsea Boys and Girls Club
will also be exhibiting a quilt show.

12:00 pm - 1:30 pm Drumming with Michael Limberakis. All drummers welcome to participate.
1:45 pm - 2:45 pm Luke Salisbury will read from his novels followed by Ann Crotty, poetry.
3:15 pm - 4:30 pm Charles Kohlhase Explorrers, jazz band.

Chelsea City Hall

From the 1930's through the 1980's, Photographer Harry Siegel,
a Romanian immigrant, made his living taking portraits for hire
on Broadway in Chelsea. As a "Street Photographer", Harry used a
large box camera with a built in miniature darkroom, he would process
your picture and give you a finished, matted print in five minutes.
On display is a collection of Harry Siegel's work spanning four decades.

" Power Corruption & Lies" themed art
Apollinaire Gallery is located in the theater lobby of the Chelsea
Theatre Works, home to Apollinaire Theatre Company. The exhibit's
theme and title is " Power, Corruption & Lies" inspired by the New
England premiere of "Men of Tortuga" which will be performed on
stage at the Apollinaire Theatre from April 17- May 17. The play
depicts political conflicts and the human condition in a dark
comedy through negotiation, conspiracy and assassination.

affordable housing and desirable public spaces in Chelsea, is
located in a newly renovated building in the Box District of Chelsea.

Founded in 1988, ROCA is a youth development organization committed
to serving the most disenfranchised and disengaged young people ages
14 - 24, in the Greater Boston area including the communities of Chelsea
Revere, East Boston, and Charlestown, MA.
